Moraine Lake is located in Banff National Park, Canada. The water of this lake comes from glaciers and little by little the frozen water travels and is deposited in this beautiful area. In addition, there is a particularity in the color of the water, since it is deep turquoise blue, so you will surely be very excited to see it live.
The privileged location makes this trek a high class trek where the view of all the surrounding peaks will surely exceed your expectations.

There are several hikes around the lake ranging from very accessible treks to some trails that can be very challenging and for which you must have a good level of fitness. One of the most famous is the Rockpile trail, which is an easy and short trail with curves but will take you to a summit with a view that is known as the "Twenty Dollar View", as the scene appears on the back of the 20 Canadian dollar bills issued in the decade from 69 to 79.

During times of high grizzly bear activity, there are hiking restrictions for many of the trails in the Moraine Lake area, as grizzly bears inhabit the area and it is best to stay away.
