Did you know that in Australia, apart from beautiful beaches and immense lush forests, there is also a mountainous region where you can ski or other snow sports and have enviable views over 2000 meters high and get to know spectacular plains and lakes? This is the Australian Alps!

In this mountain range it is possible to see parts of snow, but also high mountains with large green parts, lakes, plains and even caves since not everything is snowy. This allows you to enjoy several areas with different climates that will allow you multiple adventures in the Australian Alps, in addition, there are also animals that migrate or inhabit these higher regions such as robins or pilot birds.

Trekking at a new level

A special activity that takes place in the Australian Alps is hiking or trekking, there is a path called "Australian Alps Walking Track" which is a trail of more than 600 kilometers long that crosses five national parks: the Baw Baw, Alpine, Kosciuszko, Namadgi and Brindabella, each with some beauties that you will not forget in your life. If you want to do this complete trail, keep in mind that specialized accompaniment is recommended and it can take up to 8 or 9 weeks to complete it all.
